Join the 2022 Summer Reading Program and Read Beyond the Beaten Path!
June 6 to August 14
For All Ages!
The Crystal Lake Public Library Summer Reading Program is for everyone! Read books and ebooks; listen to audiobooks; or listen as someone reads to you. Then record your reading minutes on a reading log (download a pdf of the reading log below) or at CrystalLakeLibrary.Beanstack.org (online logging starts June 6), and earn chances to win prizes!
Everyone who completes the program will receive a book prize and a chance to win several other prizes donated by local businesses. This year’s grand prize is a custard party for you and your friends at Julie Ann’s Frozen Custard in Crystal Lake.
As always, the Summer Reading Program is available to readers of all ages – kids, teens and adults. The program is open to residents of the city of Crystal Lake AND to students (and their families) who attend a school in the city of Crystal Lake.
This year, stop by “Camp CLPL” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and enjoy free crafts and activities in Adult and Youth Services. We’ll have new activities each week!
Register for the Summer Reading Program at CrystalLakeLibrary.Beanstack.org. Track your reading minutes online and win award badges along the way. As you progress, you can earn chances to win other exciting prizes. The grand prize will be a Julie Ann’s Frozen Custard party for you and your friends.
