Do you know where to find fantastic books? Why, at your local library, of course. Head to the Youth Services Desk to register for the Winter Reading Program: Fantastic Books & Where to Find Them!
Track your reading minutes on CrystalLakeLibrary.Beanstack.org, or on a paper reading log (available at the library or download the form below). Kids who complete the program will receive a prize and a book. This program is open to CLPL cardholders and children who attend school in Crystal Lake and their siblings. Registration is required. (Early registration starts Jan. 3 in Youth Services, or online at CrystalLakeLibrary.Beanstack.org starting Jan. 16.)

How to Use Beanstack

Tracking your minutes online is easy with Beanstack.
- Visit CrystalLakeLibrary.Beanstack.org
- Click the “Sign In” button in the upper right corner
- Enter your log-in information
- To log minutes, click the “Log Reading” button in the top left corner. Choose who you want to log for—yourself or other readers connected to your account. Choose if you want to log minutes.
- Log Minutes: Type the number of minutes you read under “Time Spent Reading.” You do NOT have to complete the “Title” or “Author” sections. Click on the “Log” button.
