Dan Santat is the author and illustrator of over a hundred books for young people such as “The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend,” which won the 2015 Caldecott Medal for distinguished illustration. He also wrote “The Guild of Geniuses” and created the Disney Channel animated series “The Replacements.” He was awarded the 2023 National Book Award for Young People’s Literature for “A First Time for Everything.” Registration required.

Would you like to help out at the library this summer? The library is looking for Very Important Volunteers (VIVs) who are interested in learning new skills and earning volunteer service hours. Pick up an application at the Adult or Youth Services desks. Volunteers must be 12 years old by June 1. Applications due May 2.
