New Library Catalog Coming Soon
We’re excited to announce that the library will soon launch a new catalog! BiblioCore will bring a modern catalog experience designed to make searching and discovering titles easier than ever. We’re expecting to switch to the new catalog in mid-May. Preview the new site here.
With BiblioCore you’ll enjoy:
• A clean, mobile-friendly design
• Easier browsing by age group, genre and popular titles
• Grouped search results that bring editions together
• Personal “Shelves” to save titles for later
• Built-in tools to explore staff picks and curated lists
Some things to note about the switch:
• Borrowing History: your current reading history will transfer, but you must enable the Borrowing History setting in your account in the new catalog.
• Username and Password: you will need to create a username, but your password will remain the same unless you change it in the new catalog. If you’ve never changed your password, it should be the last four digits of the phone number you supplied when you signed up for a card.
• Changing Username: you may change your username once you’re logged into the new catalog under the My Settings section. This may be important to you if you want to post ratings, reviews and your shelves publicly.
What to expect?
The design and layout of the new catalog may feel different at first, but familiar actions – like searching, placing holds and managing your account – will work much the same way as the current catalog.
